California used to be a mecca of wealthy Anglo-Nordic Whites migrating westward away from the big eastern cities during the big immigrant arrivals from southern Europe in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The artistically inclined ashekenazi "jewish" emigres from Eastern Europe arrived in Hollywoodland later, fleeing the Czar and then Hitler, and formed the nucleus of the new emigre intellectual leftist entertainment movement. The German-American Bund was popular in Los Angeles in the 1930s. Charles Bukowski, who would later become an alcoholic beatnik poet and all-around degenerate (he was the Frank Colin type), joined the Bund as an impulsive youth. There are archived historical photos of Los Angeles Whites celebrating Hitler's birthday in the 1930s. Also photos of them protesting against American involvement in WW2 before Pearl Harbor.
