Harald Nugiseks is still alive, or at least was still alive about 14 months ago. I believe Hitler personally awarded him his high medal. If you know him or even a way to get a message to him, I'd very much like to get him on digital film and onto the internet as living history before his wealth of remembrances are lost to us. I have heard he does not prefer to talk with media, but who knows--perhaps he just might.

Harald Nugiseks lives in Pärnu. I think you can write him a letter, but I don't know, does he speak English - better to write in Estonian.

I suppose he is famous enough that the postmaster would deliver it just by his name and Parnu. I can't speak Estonian, but I can get someone to translate both a letter and an in-person video interview. Thanks for the tip.
