PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― A fourth person is under arrest in what KDKA has learned was an undercover investigation into a ring of domestic terrorists.
Bradley Kahle, of Troutville, Clearfield County, is charged with firearms violations and possession of illegal explosives.
Kahle joins Marvin Hall of Rimersburg, Perry Landis of the Clarion area, Morgan Jones of Lucinda, who were arrested and charged with federal firearm and explosives violations. Until now, their intent has been a mystery.
But Kahle's indictment papers may have shed some light. In them, Kahle tells federal undercover agents of making so-called bean can grenades - empty cans hollowed out and filled with explosives and nails which he said could be used to kill police if they raided his home.
"Hey, eight or 10 good bean bombs, five or 600 rounds of ammo and some good equipment, I could be a tough take," he said according to documents.
On another occasion, Kahle tells the operatives, "If Hillary Clinton or Barrack Obama get elected, hopefully they will get assassinated. If not they will disarm the country and we will have a civil war."
And yet on another occassion, Kahle tells the agents that the shooting of judges, magistrates and chiefs of police will start the doomsday process or "words to that effect."
Whether this was just a boast or part of a real plan is unclear. But a neighbor of one of the suspects say he's harmless.
Whether the federal government suspects the men of planning a real action will become clear tomorrow when three face detention hearings. That's where prosecutors will present evidence of why they think the men are a danger and should stay in jail.
Operatives say that in April, Kahle showed them two AK-47 assault rifles, a sniper rifle and 5,000 rounds of ammunition.

FBI Believes We're Plotting To Assassinate Barack Obama
We're Not, Of Course

Washington, DC -- [Bill: We are the "American Nazi Party" referenced below in this vague and somewhat laughable report from the British tabloids. However, this is true -- the FBI has been actively investigating the ANSWP and its supporters for a number of attacks on Barack Obama campaign buildings and activists -- attacks that we have had nothing to do with. I know at least half a dozen people who have been questioned by the FBI as to whether or not I or others are plotting to kill the Democratic Presidential nominee.
I know that John McLaughlin, probably the most trusted of those who have been questioned, can vouch that this investigation has been occurring. I will not name the others who have been questioned.
Let me say unequivocally that this inference by the FBI is false. I also have to say that I find John McCain just as bad as Obama and have similar feelings towards both candidates.]

OBAMA’S NAZI DEATH THREATS SCARE
ABOVE: Obama’s under threat from nuts
8th June 2008 By Mike Parker
BARACK Obama is being shielded by a £50million security operation after death threats from twisted racist groups.
FBI chiefs believe at least three white supremacist organisations want to assassinate the Democrat aiming to become America’s first black president.
The Daily Star Sunday can reveal that Obama has been under round-the-clock protection from the Secret Service since May last year.
It is the biggest ever security operation surrounding a presidential candidate and is costing about £50million a year.
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff ordered the move after a shock dossier revealed a “high-level risk” from ultra-right wing neo-Nazi groups.
And it is feared the risk to Obama’s life has increased since he beat Hillary Clinton to the Democratic nomination to run against Republican John McCain in November.
A senior FBI source confirmed that security around the 46-year-old Illinois senator has been beefed up after a series of chilling new threats.
One un-named group posted a hate-filled message on the internet which declared: “White supremacists everywhere will rejoice upon reading ‘Dead’ and ‘Obama’ in the same headline.”
Another showed Obama’s face with a sniper’s gun-sight super-imposed over it with the sinister caption: “One man, one bullet.”
Obama’s wife Michelle and their two daughters are also being shadowed by Secret Service agents.
According to the source, three groups believed to be targeting Obama are the National Socialist Vanguard, the American Nazi Party and the Ku Klux Klan.
[Bill: The first group, National Socialist Vanguard, disbanded after its founder died of old age two years ago, and thus is the wrong name. The "American Nazi Party" technically refers to Rocky Suhyada's outfit in Detroit, which is completely harmless, but the actual group under investigation has been the ANSWP. The Ku Klux Klan is so amorphous that which actual group is being investigated is unclear.]
Most dangerous of the hate-filled trio is the once-powerful Klan. The source said: “All three groups are seen as posing a threat. But the Klan, in particular, has a nucleus of supporters who are prepared to pursue violence to get their message across.”
Following the threats against Obama, Klan leaders in Kentucky and Louisiana have themselves been targeted.
[Bill: That indicates the IKA and possibly the White Knights organizations.]
The source added: “Certain characters would be making a very big mistake if they tried to follow through any of these nasty threats.”
A spokesman at Obama’s campaign HQ said: “We appreciate the efforts of various government agencies in protecting all the candidates and their families. “
Hillary Clinton formally suspended her campaign and backed Obama last night.
She said: “I have said throughout that I would strongly support Senator Obama if he were the Democratic Party’s nominee and I intend to deliver on that promise.”

Feds: Alleged Pa. bomb-maker wanted Clinton, Obama dead
PITTSBURGH (AP) _ A Clearfield County man arrested in a sweep by a terrorism task force in Pennsylvania had weapons, ammunition and several homemade bombs, federal authorities said Tuesday.
Bradley T. Kahle, 60, of Troutville, was one of five people arrested in last weekend's sweep. He told undercover agents he hoped Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama would be killed if they were elected president, and that he would shoot judicial and law enforcement officials if he became terminally ill, according to an affidavit of probable cause made public Tuesday.
"Kahle said words to the effect of, that 'if Hillary Clinton, or Barack Obama, get elected, hopefully they will get assassinated, if not they will disarm the country and we will have a civil war,'" the affidavit stated.
Kahle made the statement in April, when he also showed two undercover officers several firearms, including a sniper rifle, two AK-47 assault rifles, and about 5,000 rounds of ammunition, according to the affidavit.
Agents on Sunday found 16 homemade bombs during a search of Kahle's home, about 80 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, authorities said.
Kahle was charged Tuesday with unlawfully possessing firearms, namely improvised explosive devices. A detention hearing is scheduled Wednesday in Johnstown.
Other suspects arrested in the task force sweep face allegations they trafficked in blasting caps, illegally possessed weapons and transferred exploding golf balls.
The charges were detailed in federal grand jury indictments unsealed Tuesday in Pittsburgh, where a federal magistrate will be asked at a hearing Wednesday to keep three of the four suspects in jail until they can stand trial.
Marvin E. Hall, 49, of Rimersburg, and his live-in girlfriend, Melissa Huet, 34, are charged in a three count indictment. Authorities contend Hall transferred two exploding golf balls to an unnamed person in January, without a firearms license.
He is also accused of illegally possessing a 12-gauge shotgun and an SKS assault rifle; it is illegal for Hall to possess guns because he has a 1999 federal weapons conviction. Huet is accused of helping him possess the weapons in violation of the law.
Hall remains in custody, but Huet, who will appear before a federal magistrate on June 26, told The Associated Press that she owns the guns and has sales receipts in her name. After the Pittsburgh Joint Terrorism Task Force raided the couple's home Sunday, she said, federal agents told her she couldn't possess the guns because she was living with a felon.
"Nobody ever told me that before," Huet said.
Hall's former neighbor, Morgan A. Jones, 64, of Lucinda, is charged with illegally transferring a Romanian AK-47 assault rifle to someone who lives out of state in February; Jones was arrested as he left church over the weekend.
Perry E. Landis, 61, of DuBois, is charged with illegally transferring blasting caps in September and March.
Jones and Landis are represented by the Federal Public Defender's Office in Pittsburgh, which has a blanket policy of not commenting on cases.
Hall, Jones and Landis are scheduled for detention hearing Wednesday before U.S. Magistrate Amy Reynolds Hay.
Prosecutors plan to present evidence that the men are dangerous or likely to flee prosecution in hopes Reynolds will keep them jailed until trial.
Prosecutors have refused to say why they want the men detained or why the cases were investigated by the terrorism task force.
