François Duprat (1941-1978) was a French far right politician, who introduced revisionist thesis in France. He was in 1972 one of the founding members of the National Front led by Jean-Marie Le Pen, and was part of its political bureau until his assassination in 1978.

Duprat was killed on March 18, 1978, in a car-bomb explosion. His wife Jeanine was also victim of the attack, and lost the use of her legs. He was finishing a book titled Argent et politique (Money and Politics) treating of the funding of right-wing and far-right political parties.

A Jewish "Remembrance Commando" and a "Jewish Revolutionary Group" claimed responsibility for the murder.

Il y a trente ans aujourd'hui, la voiture que conduisait François Duprat explosait, alors qu'il se rendait, en compagnie de sa femme, au collège où il enseignait.
Il avait 37 ans.
Les coupables n'ont jamais été retrouvés.
Ce matin le Front national lui rendait hommage au cimetière où il est enterré, en présence de Jean-Marie Le Pen.
