Barack Obama's accidental kiss with Jill Biden has become 'Net sensation

A kiss is just a kiss, but not a kiss like this.
Barack Obama's accidental lip lock with Jill Biden is burning up the Web today - fast becoming the giggle-du-jour of the Democratic National Convention.
Tens of thousands have downloaded from YouTube (see video below) the footage of Barack smooching the wife of vice-presidential pick Joe Biden on the lips as Mrs. Obama was watching from the stands.

Uptight old media got into the razzing too.
"Obama stunned the audience with a buss to Jill Biden," the Washington Post wrote.
"The blogs were alive yesterday with speculation that Obama's on-stage kiss with Jill Biden after her husband's speech was a little too friendly," London's Daily Telegraph newspaper reported.
On CNN, reporter Jeanne Moos wondered, "Is that a little too tender?"
The adult-oriented Web site Frisky headlined their story, "The Accidental Mouth Kiss: Haven't We All Been There?"
They also offered the Democratic presidential candidate some advice on how to get past this faux pas.
"Laugh this incident off," they advised.
The Obama/Biden campaign wasn't even chuckling about it.
It's not news that the blond and brainy Mrs. Biden - an English professor with two masters degrees and a doctorate - is an object of desire.
Her husband has more than once called her "drop dead gorgeous" in public. Last year, MSNBC's Chris Matthews, crowned her the "best-looking campaigner in this race."
This is also not the first time the Democratic convention has been marked by a controversial kiss.
Who can forget Al Gore's smooch of Tipper at the 2000 convention, a kiss that went on and on and on while embarrassed delegates checked their watches.
At least those two are married.

The first time I saw Barack Obama kiss Jill Biden on the lips (above) it raised my curiosity a little. But last night’s kiss was clearly inappropriate. I’m not the only one who noticed how awkward that kiss looked.
Despite what any of you saw, Obama caught at least part of her lips - whether it was intentional or not, it was inappropriate and unsanitary.
Whatever happened to the friendly hug or handshake? Or have we forgotten how easy it is to contract herpes in the wild?
Kissing when it is done as part of an exchange of greetings, should be kept within the family or between mafioso. Does Obama kiss every female on the lips or just Jill Biden?

Actually I do believe that Jill had a Jewish grandmother on her father's side. That would make her father Jewish, but not her.
